Program Overview
Building Confidence Through Safe, Inclusive Play
Under the Lights (UTL) is a national youth flag football league for boys and girls from Pre-K through 8th grade, backed by Under Armour. The program focuses on confidence building, skill development, safe non-contact play, and inclusive access for all youth.
Small team sizes ensure more playtime for every child, while on-site League Commissioners provide real-time management. Certified referees enforce standards, and mandatory safety equipment prevents injuries while building community involvement and family engagement.

Girls Flag Football & NAIA Scholarships
Since 2020, NAIA has recognized Girls Flag Football as a scholarship sport. UTL has created All-Girls Divisions, positioning the sport as a pathway to higher education. This supports Title IX, STEM + sports hybrid pathways, and college & career readiness—a major advantage for federal youth development grants.
